Risk & Compliance Manager
Mrs. Kutlo Butale is an attorney and the Risk and Compliance Manager at Babereki Insurance Brokers since October 2020. She established the department from the ground up and has over 10 years of experience in the legal and compliance fields.In her role, she ensures regulatory compliance, designs and implements processes, conducts audits, drafts policies, and develops risk management strategies. She also provides legal and regulatory guidance to maintain the company's adherence to industry standards.
Mrs. Butale holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Botswana, a Certificate of Proficiency in Short-Term Insurance from Botswana Accountancy College, a Certificate in Data Analysis for Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and an Intermediate Certificate in Business Studies (ICBIS). She is an IISA Associate with a certification in Governance Risk and Compliance best practices.
