Business Development & Strategic Relations Manager
Mr. Thabang Shalulo Walebowa holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Social Science) in Economics and Accounts from the University of Botswana, COP in Short Term Insurance from Botswana Accountancy College, Advanced Certificate in PC Applications from NIIT and Certificate in Leadership from Stellenbosch University.
Mr. Walebowa has previous four (4) years banking experience and twelve (12) years and counting in the insurance industry under various roles. He has worked both as a broker and as a underwriter predominantly in the Sales and Business Development departments with eight (8) years being in management.
Mr. Walebowa began his professional career in August 2008 at Standard Chartered Bank as a Sales Executive and started his insurance journey at the then AON in January 2012 as a broker. He joined Babereki Insurance Brokers in November 2022 as the Business Development & Strategic Relations Manager.
